We are seeking a dedicated Specimen Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in specimen collection processing and possess knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures. Duties
- Perform specimen collection from patients.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during specimen collection procedures
- Manage laboratory specimens ensuring proper labeling and processing
- Collaborate with laboratory staff for efficient specimen handling
- Maintain inventory of collection supplies and ensure stock levels are adequate
- Entering orders into EMR.
- Checking for results
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinical laboratory or hospital environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow established protocols for specimen collection and processing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
