Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate aide to support students with disabilities during the bus ride to and from school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and providing individualized support to students. The schedule for this position is approximately 6:45am - 8am and 3pm - 4:15pm during student contact days of the Syble Hopp School Calendar.

Duties

Supervise children while on the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being. Promote a positive atmosphere. Provide individualized support for children with disabilities. Maintain effective communication with staff members.

Skills

Background in special education and experience working with students of varying abilities. Knowledge of childhood development skills. Experience in behavior management strategies. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of taking initiative when needed.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 13 per week
