SPECIAL EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONALSEBS Program (Social Emotional Behavioral)West Springfield High SchoolDuties: - Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning- Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students- Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned- Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher- Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and instruction- Other duties as may be assignedQualifications: - Associates Degree or 48 college credits or Workkeys certification completed- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed- Such alternatives found to be appropriate- Certification in First Aid Certification and CPR preferredSalary: Per Unit D Contract (Salary range ($17.67/hr - $22.96/hr)
