Job Description

Special Education Paraprofessional-InclusionWSMS- Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning.- Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students- Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned- Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher- Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and Instruction- Other duties as may be assigned-Experience working with special needs students preferredQualifications: -Associates Degree or 48 college credits attained or Workkeys, Associate degree preferred. -Citizenship, residency or work visa required.-Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed-Experience working with children who have social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities is a plusSalary: Per Unit D Contract (salary range: $17.67/hr - $22.96/hr)
