Hello Special Education Assistants!
Come work with a woman and therapist run company! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Assistant in the South St. Paul, MN area for the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities:

• Position: Special Education Assistant
• Temporary: 3 month contract (December-March)
• High School Setting 3 (DCD/ASD)
• Personal cares including feeding, toileting, etc. are required
• Hours: 7:35-2:35 with a 30-minute, unpaid lunch
• Assist in implementing student Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), 504 Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and sensory plans
• Work under the direction of a licensed teacher

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR
• Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on ParaPro or ParaEducator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric)
• Previous experience working in the school setting preferred
