Summary:
To assist in maintaining an orderly flow of supplies in the Operating Room. To work with the Distribution Coordinator and the Director of Materials Management to insure proper inventory control and distribution.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate with some related inventory experience required.
Basic background knowledge of computer operations and typing desired. Minimum of one year experience in the receiving, storage, inventory control and distribution of materials required. Experience with MMIS is required. Knowledge of surgical supplies required. Must be able to effectively plan and prioritize daily activities. Must be able to communicate effectively with all Hospital personnel. Must be courteous and tactful with emphasis on customer service. Must have the clerical, mathematical and computer knowledge to properly process all receiving and distribution transactions. Must demonstrate the highest degree of character and integrity. Must dress and groom in a neat and orderly fashion representing the department and the Hospital in a professional manner.
