Job Description

Systems Planning Corporation (SPC) a subsidiary company of GAI Consultants, Inc., is seeking a Scheduler to assist periodically in the planning and scheduling of projects/outages. The Scheduler will be required to report to the project site to assist in project/outage scheduling and be an expert in Primavera scheduling software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Gathers and analyzes project information. Uses analytical reports to set and monitor schedules. Ensures that scheduling of work follows company policy. Meet with the station team and contractors for periodic updates. Work on-site at customer's facility. The assignment will be in an industrial setting and require wearing personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc. Perform other duties as assigned by client management. Traveling to and from job sites on daily basis, whether from home or a local hotel is required.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb stairs up to 12 floors, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. The employee is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment including a hard hat, safety glasses, fall protection, hearing protection, gloves, etc. The work environment will have both hot and cold temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles issues and problems associated with the schedule and develops plans for mitigating scheduling issues. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of scheduling in Primavera. Analytical thinking skills. Ability to identify and seek needed information.
