The Sales Agronomist position and sell added value nutritional products related to crop production and provide customer service as representatives of AgXplore. AgXplore products are specifically tailored to improve health, nutrition, and performance of a wide variety of crops.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
? B.S. degree in agronomy / agriculture related field or 5 years of industry experience is preferred but not required
? Strong selling skills
? Experience working on or with a sales team
? Current and relevant knowledge of agronomy and business
? Comfort and effectiveness in public speaking
JOB DUTIES
Duties typically involve all that is related to selling and promoting the line of products offered by AgXplore.
Responsible for the sales, marketing, and technical activities in assigned geography
Build strong business relationships with key channel partners and provided support and education to them for selling AgXplore products
On farm grower calls to generate new business in coordination with channel partners
Present at grower meetings and events to promote AgXplore products
Budgeting management of company resources
Creation of annual business plans, and implementation of business/tactical plans developed.
Attendance at company meetings and conferences to keep up with changes in the field and expand their product knowledge.
Creation of monthly forecasts and quarterly reports.
