Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This role requires a strong background in food preparation, menu planning, and team management within a fast-paced environment. The Sous Chef will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Daytime Hours! 6AM to 3PM.

Duties



Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, including food production and service. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and consistency. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Participate in menu planning, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings. Coordinate catering events ensuring timely execution of service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Skills



Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably with fast-casual dining experience. Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and shift management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry. Proficiency in inventory management and control processes. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Experience in catering services and banquet operations is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Culinary experience that includes menu planning, food service management, and hospitality.
Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
