Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef for Caf\xc3\xa9 Mario in Redmond Washington State. The Sous Chef will help oversee full service cafe and catering operations and act as a resource to a team of 15 front-line employees. We are seeking a Chef with a diverse culinary background, with expertise in various international cuisines.

As Sous Chef, you will report to the General Manager and will support all culinary operations in the cafe and support on site catering. The successful candidate will be a motivated self starter, who is ambitious, creative and ready to take the next step in their career!

The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a strong culinary background, innovative with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
  • Ensure culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
