Visually approve parts by sorting out defective product. Refer to visual and/or physical samples showing defects, PDR tags and any other imperative instructions.
Maintain the Rework chart throughout the entire shift.
Notify Quality Representative of any unusual finding during the sorting process
Maintain cleanliness at work area(s) and perform required end of shift clean up.
Follow safety and plant procedures
Job Qualifications
Prefer a high school diploma or completion of GED program.
No experience required entry-level position.
Tasks and/or Duties required on a constant and consistent basis, include, but are not limited to:
No eating at work station. No drinking at work station except for clear water.
Clipping parts from runners, repetitive wrist movement and grasping of the hand
Wear safety glasses at all times
One piece inspection consists of pulling one part, inspect one part at a time
Scan sorting consists of auditing the container and inspecting a portion of the parts as directed by your supervisor.
High attention level needed (no talking between sorters)
No phones, ear buds or radios
Bending at the waist and knees.
Sitting for extended periods.
Standing for extended periods.
Walking
Twisting and/or turning
Lifting, carrying and/or moving boxes and/or bins that weigh up to 40 lbs.
Stacking of parts
Visual, detailed inspection of small parts for an extended period of time
Trimming parts
Arriving to work on time everyday schedule
Overtime may be required based on customer needs. Overtime paid based on company policy.
Able to follow written/oral instructions.
