S&OP Manager / Master Scheduler



Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented S&OP Manager / Master Scheduler to oversee and optimize our manufacturing and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive production schedules, coordinating demand planning, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products across various departments. This role is critical in maintaining efficient manufacturing processes, minimizing inventory costs, and meeting customer delivery expectations. The Master Scheduler will utilize advanced ERP systems to align production activities with business objectives, supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing.

Duties



Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using ERP systems such as SAP to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization. Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to synchronize demand planning with inventory management and production capacity. Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and forecasting techniques to anticipate material needs and adjust schedules proactively. Monitor inventory levels, control inventory flow, and implement inventory management strategies to reduce excess stock while avoiding shortages. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and implement process improvements aligned with Lean manufacturing principles. Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components. Prepare reports on schedule adherence, inventory status, and forecast accuracy for management review. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflow processes and recommending best practices in supply chain management.

Requirements



Proven experience in supply chain management, production planning, or related roles within a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle; experience with MRP, demand planning, forecasting, and inventory control is essential. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency improvements. Familiarity with supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for effective decision-making. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting reports to stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
