This role contributes to Starbucks success by architecting and driving Sales & Operations Planning - Execution processes through cross-functional leadership and coaching partners across the organization. This includes orchestrating and supporting the rhythm of business execution of S&OP, while ensuring seamless translation of demand and supply plans into actionable logistics strategies. The role drives execution across transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks, optimizing inventory positioning and flow to meet service level commitments. Additionally, it benchmarks, develops, and implements strategies to advance process maturity and effectiveness, while enabling end-to-end supply chain agility--from supplier coordination through last-mile delivery--focused on cost efficiency, speed, and operational resilience.

As a

S&OP E Lead

, you will...



Act as a change agent and lead S&OP forums with clarity and accountability Manage through a high degree of complexity and ambiguity to create business solutions with an unbiased lens Provide coaching, direction, and support to cross functional leadership team and partners in support of S&OP objectives, including quality of content and driving productive, robust discussions and alignments Enable process design through technology and analytics (e.g. Tableau dashboards & future state IBP systems) Develop contingency plans for supply disruptions, demand volatility, and capacity constraints. Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, service levels, and inventory health. Provides coaching, direction, and support to cross functional leadership team and partners in support of S&OP objectives, including quality of content and driving productive, robust discussions and alignments Engages in manager level activities, including but not limited to influencing, mentoring, and coaching other partners to elevate performance across the organization

If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.



The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
