24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
3 months of experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred from any number of months.
References

At least one year of experience with a wide array of exposure to various types of ultrasound, a good track record with past employers, and positive references. Knowledge of anatomy and pathology with ability to recognize normal from abnormal findings / Basic scanning skills with good understanding of sonographic physics and techniques / Clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting- with some exposure to general, vascular, & OB-GYN sonography

Additional certifications: RVT, OB-GYN, AB Experience in the OR and with ultrasound procedures 1 year of experience beyond education

Thoras, paras, FNAs (thyroids, parotids, lymph nodes), soft tissue masses or lymph node BXs, liver & renal BXs, drainages (abscesses, cysts, hematomas, gallbladders), thrombin injections, etc / OR- breast needle placements, carotids, D&Cs, prostate BXs

Number of Beds - 4 ultrasound rooms

Attendance and PTO request policies must be followed, all exam protocols need to be adhered to / No block scheduling requests.

& :

Fri-Sun / Weekend nights / Weekends covered by weekend position staff. No call- call tree implemented for permanent FT staff for critical staffing needs / Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply

Opportunities for extra shifts within the dept. If Breast ultrasound desired- BCC may have opportunities

:

8-10 in an 8 hour shift
