Sommelier / Beverage Manager

Tony Foreman & Co., a nationally recognized restaurant group rooted in excellence, hospitality, and education, is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Sommelier to join our team. This role is ideal for a wine professional who is passionate about guest engagement, continuous learning, and thoughtful wine service.

Position Overview

The Sommelier is responsible for supporting and enhancing the guest experience through confident wine service, in-depth product knowledge, and strong collaboration with the service and culinary teams. This position also includes Beverage Manager responsibilities related to cellar organization and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

Provide polished, knowledgeable wine service during lunch and dinner service Learn and represent our wine list and beverage offerings with accuracy and enthusiasm Guide guests through wine selections, pairings, and special bottle recommendations Support staff education through informal coaching and shared knowledge Assist with wine and beverage ordering, receiving, and proper storage Conduct monthly beverage inventory and maintain cellar organization Collaborate with management to uphold standards, pricing integrity, and product quality

Qualifications

Strong foundational wine knowledge with a genuine passion for the craft Sommelier certification (Level I or higher) preferred but not required Travel to wine regions and firsthand exposure to producers strongly valued Prior experience selling wine in a fine-dining or upscale restaurant environment Interest in professional growth and ongoing wine education Highly organized with strong attention to detail Confident, warm, and guest-focused communication style

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
