As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our team by ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently with minimal assistance. Your expertise will help us develop a steady customer base, and your proactive approach will see you making impactful in-person sales calls.
Roles and Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the metal fabrication industry, including structural steel, sheet metal, custom parts, and assemblies
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients across multiple industries (e.g. construction, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace)
Understand customer specifications and technical drawings to provide accurate quotes and timelines
Collaborate with enginnering and production teams to devlop feasible solutions based on customer requirements
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and bids
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals set by management
Track all sales activity using CRM software and report progress regularly
Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, manufacturing capabilities, and competitor activities
Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing sales; metal fabrication experience preferred
Strong understanding of fabrication process such as welding, cutting, forming, machining, and assembly
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites
