We're looking for experienced solar installers who may have the capability and ambition to potentially grow into a management role within our company. But we're also willing to train candidates who have solid construction-related experience, a great work ethic, and the motivation to learn and grow with us.
Our Solar Technicians:
Represent Draco Solar with the professionalism and customer service we're known for;
Layout and assemble mounting hardware and solar modules, racks and electrical equipment
Install and perform routine system maintenance on photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with codes and standards;
Wire solar arrays (DC);
Document completed installations;
Clean up job sites upon completion of installation; and will
Drive and maintain company vehicles.
Remotely acquire project information (designs, monitoring, bills, etc.)
Remote customer walkthrough/troubleshooting (power cycle, plug in monitor, etc.)
Contact inverter manufacturer to identify issues
Coordinate site visits (as needed)
Identify and flag issues requiring the attention of service manager, roof teams, or electrical team
Monitoring setup (site map creation, connect to internet)
Close projects (customer walkthrough, PTO)
Perform remote QA to prevent errors showing up in customer monitoring
Troubleshoot system issues
Create O&M quote/invoices
Resolve basic issues, escalate to manager/electrician if needed
Manage tickets (enter new, scheduling, close out when complete, send invoices)
End of job reports
We are looking for customer-focused Installers who:
Solar Installer - 1 year (knowledge of inverters, interface, and programming)
High School Diploma (or GED)
NABCEP (strongly preferred)
Valid Driver's License with clean record
Ability to lift 50lbs
Ability to work safely and effectively on roofs and ladders
Expected salary range - $20-$30 per hour.
