Responsibilities

Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels, mounting structures, and electrical components on rooftops and ground-mounted systems Use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment to support installation activities safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system setup Support electricians with wiring tasks involving low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Operate construction equipment such as forklifts when necessary to move materials around the site Help with fixture installation, plumbing connections, and other related construction tasks as directed Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Prior construction site experience or background in general labor roles preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams Basic knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and forklift safely Experience working on roofing projects or in commercial electrician roles is a plus Understanding of NEC standards related to electrical installations Strong physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and work at heights for extended periods Willingness to learn new skills related to solar installation and construction safety protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
