Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Responsible for all aspects of the software application life cycle, including coordination with user groups to identify solutions that improve business processes, implementing process and system changes, system training, and other user-focused activities.

Act as a main point of contact on software integration and digital projects, including scientific ELN, LIMS, CMMS, company webpages, websites, etc., that require multi-tasking, internal/external communication, data analytics, and more.

Collaborate both internally and externally with business partners, developers, and management to ensure proper integration of new feeds.

Document and organize project design plans, instructional strategies, story boards, flowcharts, and objectives.

Serve as the primary Benchling administrator, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and user accessibility.

Collaborate closely with scientists to customize Benchling workflows, templates, and data structures aligned with experimental processes.

Assist with data migration and workflow organization to promote best practices across ELN, LIMS, and inventory modules.

Support basic website maintenance activities including content updates, performance monitoring, and user accessibility improvements.

Essential Qualifications



Bachelors Degree

A minimum of 3 years' experience configuring Benchling ELN, Registry, and Inventory modules to optimize scientific workflows.

Background in basic coding HTML, CSS, Javascript preferred

Experience working with laboratory workflows and laboratory information systems (LIMS).

Coding experience with the ability to support automation, customization, and integration tasks.

Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

Strategic and analytical thinking.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
