Job Description

The ideal candidate will have worked in a financial or banking industry. This role oversees the design, development, and support of vendor-packaged and custom applications supporting a Symitar core banking environment. The manager partners with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver secure, high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coach a team of application developers across multiple initiatives Oversee design, development, testing, and delivery of banking applications Collaborate with project management, business stakeholders, and vendors Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and coding standards Drive continuous improvement and agile delivery practices

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field Experience supporting financial institution technologies (Jack Henry / Symitar preferred) Leadership experience managing and mentoring technical teams Strong understanding of agile project and software development practices

Preferred Experience

Core banking application development (Symitar / PowerOn) SQL, JavaScript, or enterprise application integrations Banking or credit union technology environments

Compensation & Schedule

Salary range:

$113,000 - $142,000 + annual bonus

Full-time, hybrid schedule (onsite required at least 50%) Comprehensive benefits, PTO, 401(k) match, and paid holidays
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $114,000.00 - $132,000.00 per year
