MFC is looking for an engineering lead that will be responsible for the leadership and development and technical excellence of their team.
For the leadership and development of their team, the leader is responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.
To drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, the leader is responsible for supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program.

Candidates filling this position will need a US citizen and will need a clearance at the level specified in "Clearance Level" or will need the ability to get a clearance if not specified. In addition to meeting security clearance requirements, candidate may need to be approved to work Special Access Program (SAP) prior to start of employment.

Basic Qualifications:
C++ 11 or later

Embedded real-time software development
Desired Skills:
Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
Agile processes and practices
Analytical, debug, troubleshooting and test skills
C++ model developer (CMD) / simulation framework
Common Simulation Framework (CSF)
Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
Earned Value Management Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Full Lifecycle Development Experience
Git / GitHub / GitLab - software configuration/version control
Hardware In the Loop (HWIL)
Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS)
JIRA - software issue tracking and project management
Operational Flight Software (OFP)
Prior engineering management or engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
Process Improvement and Affordability experience
Proposal Development Experience; Basis of Estimate
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with an investigation within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
