Software Engineers are members of our product teams, responsible for creating, enhancing, and supporting common features. Working side-by-side with Product Owners, Software Test Engineers, and Business Stakeholders, they are actively involved in the complete software development life cycle in an agile environment including technical design, hands-on coding, unit testing, integration testing, performance tuning, maintenance, test automation, deploys and upgrades.

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join a fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering team.?As a Software Engineer, you will be working to continuously improve and enhance the Marketplace Developer Portal platform, designing and implementing solutions for scale and optimized user experience, partnering with the tech platform and operations teams to document the technical designs, hands-on develop integrations, and oversee the operational processes encompassing SDLC, Agile, release management, and CI/CD.

During the first six months, you will:
  • Recommend and implement improvements to team core processes.
  • Complete stories or subtasks where the approach is less defined, however the outcome is clearly defined.
  • Focus on C#/.NET, React & Cloud (AWS serverless preferred) development.
  • Work with senior team members to pressure test their design or approach.
  • Propose?appropriate?scope adjustments centered on delivering the right client outcome while considering technical debt impacts.
  • Understand a large code base to contribute to it and understand existing designs and technology choices to make appropriate adjustments to existing designs.
  • Ensure code exhibits good separation of concerns.
  • Achieve both high throughput and quality.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or 2 years\' experience
  • Must have 2-3 years\' hands-on experience with full-stack web development, with experience in Client-Side Programming (ReactJS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and SQL
  • Well-versed in C#/.NET, ReactJS, Cloud (AWS serverless preferred) development.
  • Must be proficient in design and development and unit-testing of REST APIs, Web Services, and web pages using ASP.NET and/or ASP.NET MVC with C#
  • Experience with Micro Service Architecture
  • Experience with the Core AWS Services
  • Should be familiar with Systems Architecture and developer tools.
  • Experience with unit testing and integration test automation
  • Must be adaptable to change and have a willingness to learn.
  • Must have a strong sense of curiosity.

What success looks like:

As a Software Engineer within the Surveys Product domain, you\'ll have the opportunity to be involved in the development and support of our Product within a collaborative team environment. Your role is key in the delivery of new initiatives, engaging in collaborative discussion amongst the group on the most technically sound approach forward, and contributing to our SDLC to deliver new capabilities. You\'ll work side-by-side with Product Owners, Software Test Engineers, and Business Stakeholders, and be actively involved in an agile software development environment.

Surveys is a complex Product domain and within our team you\'ll have the opportunity to be involved in our path towards product modernization, delivering exciting new product capabilities, and working to solve key architectural challenges that will enable future growth and scale.

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $75,000 - $146,189/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.
