This position follows a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Software Development Lifecycle

• Analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software solutions
• Translate product concepts into actionable project commitments (features, user stories) that deliver frequent, high-quality value to customers
• Responsible for all aspects of deliverables including detailed code design, coding, unit and integration testing, automation, and deployment

Code Quality & Testing

• Create high-quality software through peer design/code reviews and automated test case development
• Ensure solutions are testable, maintainable, and automated, meeting code coverage and static analysis targets
• Implement unit tests and drive continuous integration/validation processes

Design & Architecture

• Adhere to industry best practices for scalability, maintainability, usability, availability, extensibility, security, and portability
• Follow provided technical designs, frameworks, and patterns
• Identify areas for design and implementation improvements and share feedback with senior engineers

Collaboration & Agile Practices

• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to support solution development
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies and mechanisms as a scrum team member
• Decompose stories into manageable tasks and complete them within the definition of done and original estimates

Problem Solving & Ownership

• Solve straightforward problems with high productivity
• Investigate non-standard requests and problems with some assistance
• Promptly seek help when blocked and maintain consistent velocity

Leverage AI

• Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks
• Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience including requirement analysis, problem solving, and business communication
• 1+ years of experience in back-end coding using relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Ability to work in an office or designated company location

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2+ years of Java and Oracle coding experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github actions, and other automation platforms
• Familiarity with microservices architecture using Spring Boot
• Domain & Methodology experience
• Exposure to the healthcare industry and EDI exchange formats
• Experience in business systems analysis and breaking down requirements
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
• Advanced Development Practices
• Acceptance test-driven development experience
• Exposure to technologies like DROOLS BRMS, Python, React, Spring

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
