Software Engineer, Connector Operations

San Francisco, CA, United States

Job Description

Opportunity:

The Connector Operations team\'s mission is to ensure Airbyte\'s catalog of over 300+ connectors is easy to work with and manage, for both connector developers and Airbyte users. This includes the overall monitoring of the quality and performance of our connectors along with the process to build, test, monitor, publish, and certify them. We also ensure that connectors are a pleasure to discover, install, and upgrade within the Airbyte product. We are building the \'app store\' for Airbyte Connectors - getting connector management right is the bread-and-butter of Airbyte. Success looks like an ever-growing library where everyone on the planet can find a ready-to-use connector to move their data.

While we give little importance to job titles, we believe every Airbyter should know their internal level and understand what\'s expected of them in their role, at their level. This opportunity is for an L5+ Engineer. L5s contribute their deep expertise and experience to large-scale and complex problems. They drive impact by providing thought leadership and context to the organization, driving alignment across teams to achieve success with company objectives. L5s are often the senior-most member of their team and set a high bar for others to strive towards.
