Become a key player as a Software Development Engineer in Test: Join a high-impact team responsible for the "front door" of the platform -- the systems that power identity, authentication, and secure access for millions of users. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll help revamp core infrastructure, accelerate delivery pipelines, and build high-quality code that keeps customers secure. Your work directly enhances platform reliability, scalability, and developer velocity, enabling the organization to ship faster, safer, and smarter. This is a hands-on role for an engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and is passionate about secure, scalable system design. Here's how you'll make an impact on the team:
Build, test, and deploy secure, scalable backend services using Java (or Scala).
Create and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
Write high-quality automated tests (Selenium, Playwright, or similar).
Collaborate with product managers to understand customer needs and translate them into engineering requirements.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and system architecture discussions.
Improve system reliability, instrumentation, and automation to speed up delivery.
Support daily development activities -- from ticket execution to building new features.
Contribute to modernizing identity and authentication infrastructure (SSO, OAuth, SAML, MFA, x509).
Here's what you'll need to be successful in this role:
8+ years of software development experience designing and shipping production systems.
Expert-level proficiency in Java (strong Scala experience also welcome).
Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
Strong foundation in software design patterns and distributed systems.
Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium or Playwright).
Solid understanding of the full SDLC, from requirements to performance analysis.
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field (or equivalent experience).
Practical experience with modern authentication/authorization standards:
OAuth, SAML, SSO, MFA, x509
Experience deploying applications to AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum teams.
