Job Duties

: Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.35045)

Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires:

Object-oriented languages including Java, Go, C, C++, Python, or PHP; RESTful APIs and web services; Containerized applications and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes; Linux and scripting; Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules; Technical knowledge in networking, operating systems, cloud computing, and distributed systems; and * Automation and configuration management tools including Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
