A Day in the Life\xe2\x80\xa6

Our team builds strong partnerships and collaborates closely with home product category licensees.

If selected for this role, you will report to the Manager Licensing Softlines, Disney & Pixar.

Your role will involve:

Assist the licensee team in researching and responding to licensee questions and requests

Act as a liaison for marketing approvals, including routing to reviewers, consolidating feedback and collaborating with licensees to implement changes

Aid in PR and Social Media requests, ensuring alignment with the marketing calendar, movie releases and anniversaries

Maintain licensee lists and sell-in documents ensuring accurate records and providing updates as required

Collect data for business analysis, including trend research and updates from retail shopping visits

Mange product samples and ensure the organization of sample storage

Gather and provide monthly selling highlights for assigned categories

Stay up-to-date on marketing, product innovation and relevant cultural trends bringing fresh ideas to the team

Lends a hand with other tasks as they come up

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and/or Keynote

Required Education:

Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year in (or recently graduated within the past six months) pursuing a bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business, communications or other related field

Internship Eligibility:

Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Must possess unrestricted work authorization

Must provide full work availability

All candidates must be able to work in the Glendale office and provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.

Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)

Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 through June 2024. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship (40 hours/week) Monday through Friday, with possible evenings and weekends if necessary.

Housing: Candidate must be able to provide own housing and transportation in the Glendale, CA area. The pay rate for this internship in California is $21.70 per hour.
