Des Moines Public Schools is seeking a Social Worker for the 2023-2024 school year.
School social workers receive a $3,000 hiring bonus and an additional stipend.
Job Summary:
Enhance the educational programs of individuals by assisting in identification assessment and support of their educational needs including social, emotional, behavioral and adaptive needs.

Hiring requirements:
Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Social Work.
Iowa Statement of Professional Recognition or School Social Work Endorsement.
Iowa Department of Public Health Licensure (LMSW or LISW)
Highly Qualified Candidates will possess:
Experience in an urban school district.
Position Details:
Contract days vary by assignment
7.75 hours
Salary schedule attached
Final salary will be determined by experience and qualifications
