A Social Service Director cares deeply about the psychological, social, and spiritual needs of residents. They are an advocate, a counselor, a friend, and a liaison between families, their loved ones, and clinical teams.

Responsibilities and Purpose

Identify each resident's social, emotional and psychological needs. Develop and carry out a plan to develop the residents' full potential during their stay. Planning for the resident's discharge or transition to another care environment.
