Social Media Manager -- Thrift + Vintage Content Creator

About the Role

We're looking for a

creative, bilingual (English & Spanish) Social Media Manager

who enjoys thrifting, vintage fashion, and short-form content. You'll create consistent videos and posts from both a thrift store and a vintage warehouse, helping bring attention and traffic to our social platforms, Whatnot shows, and upcoming thrift/vintage ventures.

This role also includes general marketing support as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

Content Creation

Film and edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. Capture daily moments, new arrivals, and unique items from both locations. Create styling clips, product highlights, and trend-based content. Support promotional content for Whatnot shows, drops, and events. Maintain consistent posting schedules.

Marketing Tasks

Communicate and coordinate with marketing vendors (radio, TV, billboard, print, etc.). Assist with creating basic signage, flyers, posters, and simple visual materials. Help brainstorm and support promotional campaigns and store initiatives.

Requirements

Fluent in Spanish and English

(written and spoken). Strong video editing ability (CapCut, TikTok tools, InShot, etc.). Comfortable filming in both a retail and warehouse environment. Polished communication skills when interacting with vendors and partners. Good eye for thrift, fashion, and vintage-focused content. Comfortable being on camera and capturing footage of others. Organized, consistent, and able to work independently. Portfolio or examples of past social media work required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $41,600.00 per year
