Social Media Manager - NY Bakery and Desserts

About Us:

NY Bakery & Desserts is a fast-growing, high-end dessert brand based in the heart of New York City, with multiple locations including Times Square. We're known for our handcrafted desserts, 24/7 energy, and partnerships with major clients like American Express, Netflix, and Uber.

Position:

Social Media Manager

Schedule:

Full-Time / Part-Time (Hybrid or On-site options)

Location:

New York, NY

Responsibilities:

Create engaging social media content (photos, videos, reels, stories, and posts) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms. Manage daily posting, captions, scheduling, and community engagement. Brainstorm and execute creative campaigns and giveaways to grow followers and engagement. Capture in-store moments, customer experiences, and product highlights. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan monthly content calendars. Monitor performance metrics and adapt strategies to boost visibility and sales.

Requirements:

Proven experience managing social media for a brand or business (preferably food, retail, or hospitality). Strong understanding of content trends, hashtags, and platform algorithms. Photography, videography, and editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Suite a plus). Excellent communication, organization, and creative thinking. Passion for desserts, aesthetics, and NYC culture is a big plus!

Compensation:

Competitive hourly or salaried pay (based on experience) + performance bonuses.
