We are looking for a Social Media Intern who can bring creativity, a deep understanding of the golf world, and a knack for engaging digital storytelling to our marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
Create, edit, and publish short-form video content optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Monitor and apply emerging social media trends to V1 Sports' channels, adapting them to maintain a professional and engaging brand presence.
Manage and schedule posts across multiple social media platforms, ensuring content is on-brand and on-schedule.
Collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, and content partners, ensuring deliverables are aligned with contract schedules.
Capture, curate, and organize golf-related content for organic social media use.
Engage with online communities to foster relationships with fans, athletes, and partners.
Track performance metrics to help optimize engagement and growth strategies.
Qualifications
Competitive golfing background - ideally collegiate or higher-level amateur competition.
Proven experience with short-form video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, Final Cut Pro).
Understanding of social media culture, trends, and platform best practices.
Experience managing multi-platform business social media accounts.
Comfort working with influencers and brand ambassadors.
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset with a passion for both golf and digital media.
Willing and able to travel to local golf facilities (course, driving range, indoor simulator) and/or events.
