Social Media Elections Technician

POSITION: Social Media Elections Technician
DEPARTMENT: Registration and Elections
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of skilled and manual labor worker involved with Election Preparation, Voting Equipment Preparation and Maintenance. Responsible for Election Equipment inventory control and asset management. Requires efficiency in systems management, organizational skills, and document/records retention knowledge. The position is one that requires a lot of standing, walking, and lifting. Must have the ability to lift approximately 25 lbs. Overtime work is expected in this position.
In addition, job responsibilities include data entry, customer service over the phone and in-person, supervising a work team, outreach and education through social media and the web. Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software issues. Provide Election Day support to election workers.
Formal Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree in Computer Technology/Data Processing, and/or Mechanical Technology
Five (5) years of experience as an Election Technician or
Computer Operations/Hardware Support Specialist or
*Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
