Cascade Christian Schools is looking for a talented social media curator & community engagement advocate to administer our social media accounts. Founded in 1992, Cascade Christian Schools serves infants through grade twelve and today is a thriving school district serving students and families throughout Pierce County. As a social media curator, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our organization\'s views creatively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodation may be made for individuals with a need for accommodation to perform the essential functions of this job.

• Attend special school events for photography and videography for social media
• Help coordinate social media post/campaigns
• Provide pictures and help with weekly district-wide communications (Chronicle, email, weekly newsletters)
• Help create PR plans that tell the company\'s news and brand stories across multiple channels
• Facilitate communications initiatives involving news releases, social media outreach, content marketing, research, interviews, media monitoring and tracking, and other support on special projects and events
• Assist community engagement efforts with CCS familes, students, and staff
• Support PfC (Parents for Cascade Christian)
• Attend performances, occasional athletic events, and other school events (also getting photos for social media)
• Buiding healthy relationships with parents, students, teachers, and other CCS stakeholders
• Promoting positive CCS culture and guiding principles
• District and campus event support
• Assist with Director of Enrollment and Red Carpet in promotional opportunities (booths at occasional weekend events)
• Support red carpet initiatives
• Explore and connect potential church partners with the Director of Spiritual Formation
• Support other district departments in engagement opportunities (ie: Advancement, Recreation Department)
• Provide Marketing and Communications office support (ie: logowear store and logo item coordination, creating and tracking purchase orders, assisting with advertising)
• Provide campus and department support (Marketing, Admissions, Development, Business, International)
• Assist with other duties as needed
• Work in a manner that reflects the character of Jesus

REQUIREMENTS/WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO:

• Is a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
• Is a passionate, curious communicator; a person who thrives on creativity; a dedicated, strategic collaborator
• Responds quickly to shifting priorities
• Has background check clearance
• Has a bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in media, public relations, or another communications field
• Has experience working cross-functionally to influence change; a team player with high emotional intelligence and an ability to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization
• Has proven work experience in social media management
• Has hands-on experience in content management
• Has excellent copywriting skills
• Is able to deliver creative content
• Is knowledgeable in online marketing channels
• Is familiar with creative design
• Has analytical and multitasking skills

SALARY RANGE:

$16.00 - $26.00
