We are looking for a creative, organized, and proactive
Social Media Assistant
to support our marketing team in planning, posting, and engaging across all social media platforms. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who loves creating organic content, understands social media trends, and enjoys being part of a fast-moving in-house creative environment.
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop daily content, maintain our social calendars, show up consistently within our communities, and keep our four brands active and engaging online:
Truwear, Truwear Missionary, Truwear Services, and Wasatch Threads

Key Responsibilities
Work directly with the Marketing Manager to plan, schedule, and publish daily social media content.
Create and manage the social media content calendar for all four brand accounts.
Assist in gathering in-house organic content including stories, reels, product clips, behind-the-scenes content, and quick-turn posts.
Participate in videos and film organic content for stories and reels as needed.
Support the Marketing Manager during scheduled content days (prep, filming, organizing, capturing BTS, etc.).
Write clear, on-brand copy for captions, story scripts, and short-form content with an understanding of basic SEO and keyword optimization.
Use Canva to design graphics, simple layouts, and on-brand visual assets.
Show up daily in our communities to engage with followers, answer comments, monitor messages, and interact within partner and school communities.
Identify potential collaborators, influencers, or partners and share recommendations with the marketing team.
Stay informed on best practices, trending formats, industry shifts, and platform updates.
Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain consistency, innovation, and brand voice across all channels.
Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of social media experience preferred but not required if you have a strong portfolio or examples of work.
Strong copywriting skills with attention to tone, clarity, and brand voice.
Basic understanding of SEO and keyword usage for captions and social content.
Comfortable being on camera and participating in organic content.
Proficiency with
Canva
; basic graphic design skills required.
Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools is a plus.
Ability to stay organized while managing multiple brand accounts.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative working style.
Motivation to engage consistently with communities and build trust with followers.
