About the Position

Kissing Bridge is looking for dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Snowmaking Team for the upcoming winter season. Snowmakers play a critical role in creating the high-quality snow surface our guests expect. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position ideal for team-oriented people who enjoy active, hands-on work in all weather conditions.

What You'll Do

As a Snowmaker, you will work closely with the Mountain Operations team to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent snow production. Your responsibilities include:

Snowmaking Operations

Turn on, monitor, and shut down all on-hill snowmaking equipment Perform daily pre- and post-operation checks of snowmaking infrastructure Monitor snow quality and coverage throughout your shift Set up and break down snowmaking trails as needed

Equipment & Infrastructure

Identify and troubleshoot hose, gun, and equipment issues Safely operate snowmobiles, ATVs, and trucks following designated routes Operate primary and satellite valving in pump houses for air/water transfer Start up and operate pumps and compressors Flush and blow out guns and hoses Service, repair, and maintain snowmaking equipment and infrastructure Use hand tools and small power equipment as needed

Communication & Teamwork

Use radios following proper protocol and communication etiquette Maintain accurate documentation Work cooperatively with team members, other departments, and vendors Create a positive, safety-focused, team-oriented working atmosphere

Other Duties

Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE Perform other resort or department duties as assigned

Qualifications

We're looking for team members who are:

Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs Willing and able to work

weekends, nights, and holidays

Capable of performing physically demanding labor (moving hoses, shoveling snow, hiking trails, moving guns, breaking ice, etc.) Comfortable working outside in

all weather conditions

, including extreme cold Dependable, safety-minded, and team-oriented Previous snowmaking or mountain operations experience is a plus but not required -- we provide training!
