Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Snow Shoveler to assist with winter snow removal operations. This role involves clearing snow from walkways, driveways, and other outdoor areas to ensure safety and accessibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment related to landscaping and maintenance. Prior experience in landscape construction or landscape maintenance is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate snow shovels, snow blowers, and other hand tools to clear snow from designated areas Use power tools and equipment such as excavators or skid steers when necessary for larger snow removal tasks Maintain pathways, driveways, parking lots, and sidewalks free of snow and ice Apply salt or de-icing materials to prevent ice formation and ensure safe walking surfaces Could lead to landscaping or other outdoor maintenance tasks as needed during off-season periods

Qualifications

Prior experience in landscape maintenance or construction is preferred but not required Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators are advantageous Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during winter months Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads when necessary Knowledge of safety procedures related to outdoor maintenance work Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are nice-to-have but not mandatory for all roles Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 - 40.0 per week
