Job Summary

Moynihan Companies is seeking a General Manager of their snow removal business. The job entails management at a high level of the complete business operations from office to in the field work. Candidates must have experience in the snow removal management business. The job is year round, while in the Spring time the candidate may assist in Spring operations in the company such as landscaping and sweeping.

Duties

MUST be available all snow storms start to finish and pre storm prep. Create operations plan for snow removal and salting events of different magnitudes Office and administrative work such as estimating, creating routes, customer coordination, employee management, hiring, etc. Essentially all operations of snow removal management from customer acquisition to operations and completion of work. Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team during snow removal operations- Statewide Maintain equipment in good working condition, performing routine inspections and minor repairs as needed. Ensuring repairs get completed immediately through mechanics on staff or outsourced. Operate snow plow vehicles and equipment to remove snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and sidewalks as needed

Qualifications

Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising snow removal teams, statewide over many sites, with total staff of over 100 people. Familiarity with snow removal equipment and techniques. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to work long hours during inclement weather conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in groundskeeping or related fields is preferred but not required.
This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage snow removal operations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. MUST have past experience, and provide references. References will be checked before hiring.

Salary And Benefits

$40.00-$50.00 Per Hour with Overtime at time and a half Health insurance is provided by the company after 3 month employment period, with the company paying approximately 60% of the individuals cost. 10 Paid Vacation Days
