Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Snow Plowing Shovel Crew Team Member to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and accessible pathways during winter months by performing snow removal and related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and an interest in outdoor landscape maintenance. Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is a plus, but training will be provided for the specific snow plowing duties. This position offers hands-on experience in outdoor seasonal work and contributes to community safety and accessibility.

Responsibilities

Operate snow plowing equipment and hand tools to clear driveways, sidewalks, and parking areas efficiently. Shovel snow from designated areas to ensure safety and accessibility for clients and staff. Assist with ice management by applying salt or de-icing agents as needed. Support landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, or gardening during off-season periods. Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of tools and equipment used in snow removal. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks safely and efficiently under varying weather conditions. Follow safety protocols related to the operation of power tools, excavators, and other landscaping machinery.

Qualifications

Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is preferred but not required. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with landscaping equipment such as excavators or power tools is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including shoveling, lifting, and operating hand tools or machinery. Knowledge of horticulture, tree care, irrigation, hardscape installation, or tree trimming is advantageous. Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during winter months. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to outdoor maintenance equipment and tools. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
