Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Plow Operator to join our maintenance team. This role is essential for ensuring safe and accessible pathways during winter months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment operation, landscape maintenance, and general groundskeeping. Prior experience with mechanical systems, power tools, and outdoor maintenance is highly desirable. Duties

Operate snow plowing equipment efficiently to clear streets, driveways, parking lots, and walkways during winter storms Perform routine inspections and maintenance on snow removal machinery to ensure optimal operation Assist with landscaping tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, irrigation setup, and garden care during off-season periods Use hand tools and power tools for landscape maintenance, hardscape projects, and general groundskeeping Support construction or excavation projects as needed, utilizing equipment such as excavators and other heavy machinery Conduct routine safety checks around work areas to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work sites after completing snow removal or landscaping tasks

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to snow plow machinery and outdoor equipment maintenance Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction or landscaping machinery Knowledge of tree care including trimming and pruning techniques Familiarity with irrigation systems and hardscape installation or repair Ability to operate snow plowing equipment safely under various weather conditions Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to recognize potential hazards in outdoor environments Physical stamina for extended periods of outdoor work in cold weather conditions Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient task completion
