On-Call Snow Plow Driver

Job Summary:

We are looking for reliable and experienced on-call plow drivers to join our snow removal team. As an on-call driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently removing snow from commercial and residential properties using a company truck and plow. This position requires flexibility, availability during winter storms (including nights, weekends, and holidays), and the ability to respond quickly when called.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a plow truck to clear driveways, parking lots, and roadways. Apply salt as directed. Monitor weather conditions and be prepared for call-ins during snow events. Maintain equipment, perform pre- and post-operation inspections, and report any issues. Follow all safety procedures and site-specific requirements. Communicate with dispatch and team members during operations.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Minimum

2 years of previous snow plowing or heavy equipment operation experience

. Ability to work long and irregular hours during snow events. Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Ability to work outdoors in extreme winter weather conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Must pass a

background check and driving record (MVR) check

prior to employment.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay (based on experience). Overtime opportunities during heavy snowfalls. On-call availability pay (if applicable).

Schedule:

On-call, weather dependent. Must be available during snowstorms, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $26.00 - $27.00 per hour
