As a Sr Product Support Engineer, you will be using your skills and hands-on expertise to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes. You\'ll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems. You\'re technical responsibilities include product installation, testing, error/defect detection and correction, and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains \xe2\x80\x93 air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities:

  • The TRAX Senior Product Support Engineer is expected to be intimately familiar with all aspects of operation and employment of the equipment specified under the field service contract.
  • Stateside travel is required up to 40% annually (Training, Exercise, and Integration support to end users).
  • Expect OCONUS deployment (hostile/ incentive pay in accordance with DoS rates if applicable) annually in intervals of 60 days (work continues as normal when stateside).
  • Primary management office is located in Southern Pines, NC.
  • Place of duty will be in Southern Pines, NC with 40% travel.
Must-haves:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a related field of study or typically 10 or more years of related experience
  • Progressive hands-on experience with wireless networks, tactical communications and personal computers
  • Communication and customer interface skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systems
  • Full understanding of Special Operations Forces military operations
  • Stateside/International travel is required up to 40% annually (Training, Exercise, and Integration support to end users)
  • Expect OCONUS deployment to austere locations (hostile/ incentive pay in accordance with DoS rates) in intervals of 60 days (work continues as normal when stateside)
  • An active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Preferred:
  • Thorough knowledge of tactical datalink hardware is highly desirable such as 161 and STT Link 16 radios, SADL radios, and MANET radios
  • Direct experience with SOF Fires/Communications is highly desirable.
  • Current Security+ certificate is desirable
  • Current Network+ certificate is desirable
