Responsible for the intricate repair and maintenance of all slot machine equipment to the component level. This may include but is not limited to specializing in bill acceptors, boards, monitors, comparators, printers, etc.

What You Get to Do



Troubleshoot and repair all types of slot machines and employed equipment to the component level. Maintain a working library of technical manuals and customer notices issued by the venders and GLI to ensure compliance. Regularly review and evaluate preventative maintenance procedures by creating and maintaining work history spreadsheets; make recommendations to Slot Operations Manager to improve processes to ensure optimal game performance. Maintain a working stock of spare parts to minimize equipment down time. Keeping the slot equipment in good operating condition, making certain that the equipment performs according to manufacturer specifications and complies with property established parameters. Ensure acute attention to detail with all aspects of the slot floor and technical equipment. Ability to specialize in certain aspects of the technical department; including but not limited to bill acceptors, monitors, boards, accounting system, etc. Ensure machine integrity through expertise in repairing and preventive maintenance with this equipment. Promote team effort and support with fellow Associates and Supervisors from all areas. Know and comply with all gaming regulations (Federal, State, and Band Statutes) and Grand Casino's internal controls, policies, and procedures. Ensure relationship building with every Guest on every interaction through the following steps: Always greets the Guests in a friendly way and ensures eye contact and a smile. Take care of the Guest's needs. Close with a friendly parting comment. Bring disputes and unusual Guest activities to the attention of the Slot Operations Manager. Maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. Present self in a professional manner both on and off property. Must adhere to policies or performance of duties to ensure ongoing Title 31/BSA compliance. All other duties as assigned that are related to this role.

What Qualifies You



High School diploma/GED or relevant experience required. Two (2) years Slot experience and/or a combination of two (2) years advanced electronics education and experience required. Computer -literate with specific proficiency in Microsoft applications required. Casino Management Certificate Preferred. Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA). Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's). Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
