Overview

Parkland Health Center includes two locations in Missouri \xe2\x80\x94 a full-service acute care hospital in Farmington as well as a three-bed critical access hospital in Bonne Terre. Parkland Health Center provides quality primary and secondary level inpatient and outpatient services to the people of St. Francois County and surrounding areas in southeastern Missouri.

Parkland\xe2\x80\x99s Farmington campus offers a full continuum of inpatient and medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including oncology services, an infusion center, a wound care clinic, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center. The Parkland Bonne Terre campus includes emergency services, inpatient services for patients meeting specific criteria, and a sleep study lab.

The Sleep Lab provides support for diagnostic sleep apnea and other sleep disorders for patients who have a physician order for these services.
Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

To perform Polysomnography responsibilities, oversee clinical operations and assist the manager in performing administrative operations in the Sleep Disorder Center.

Responsibilities * Categorizes sleep stages and interprets and reports resulting data.

• Schedules patients and maintains a record of testing and results. Prepares the patient for polysomnography.
• Calibrates, initiates, and maintains equipment.
• Arranges and/or provides in-services on sleep related issues.
• Provides expert knowledge for the sleep lab staff.

Minimum Requirements

Education * High School Diploma or GED

Experience * 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

Licenses & Certifications * Basic Cardiovascular Life Sup

• RPSGT

Preferred Requirements

Education * Associate\'s Degree
- Respiratory Therapy

Licenses & Certifications * CRT

• RRT
