Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills, including carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and more. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from remodeling and restoration to new construction, utilizing various tools and techniques. The Tradesman will be responsible for executing high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards and project specifications. This position is essential for ensuring the successful completion of construction projects with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities



Perform a variety of construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, roofing, masonry, and concrete finishing. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately. Install doors, windows, cabinets, glass, trim carpentry, stucco, caulking, and flooring as needed. Conduct construction inspection to ensure quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project. Manage demolition or restoration work with attention to detail and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to all safety regulations. Assist in estimating materials and labor for upcoming projects using construction management principles.

Skills



Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Extensive experience with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques. Knowledge of various construction disciplines including carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry (concrete forming), roofing (shingles or flat roof systems), plumbing (installation & repair), electrical systems (installation & troubleshooting), tile laying, plastering, stucco application, glass installation, cabinet installation, flooring installation (hardscape & tile), welding, and remodeling projects. Familiarity with construction estimating and management practices is a plus. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance on all job sites. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.30 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
