Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Independent Contractor

to assist with construction and renovation projects on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in multiple trades and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This role has the potential to transition into a

full-time position

for the right individual as workload increases.

Scope of Work

The contractor must be able to perform some or all of the following tasks:

Drywall hanging and installation Drywall taping, mudding, and finishing Interior and exterior painting Flooring installation (vinyl, laminate, hardwood, tile, etc.) Job site preparation and cleanup Work independently or alongside a small crew Follow project plans, timelines, and safety guidelines
Requirements

Proven experience in drywall, painting, and flooring installation Own tools required to complete assigned tasks Reliable transportation to job sites Ability to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards Strong attention to detail Professional communication and work ethic Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of relevant construction or remodeling experience Experience working as an independent contractor Ability to handle multiple project types Knowledge of basic construction codes and best practices
Contractor Status

This is a

1099 independent contractor

position Contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and licensing (if applicable)
