JOB POSTING
PURPOSE OF POSITION: Responsible for managing front-line skier services sales team\'s daily operations across multiple resort locations. Ensure accurate transaction processing and high quality guest service for sales of ski lessons, ski rentals, child care and lift ticket products.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO
  • Answer Sales hotline and respond to Lead and Agent questions and escalations in timely fashion
  • Plan, develop and implement training program components pre-season and in-season
  • Organize, implement and contribute to pre-season and in-season team communications, including but not limited to emails, meetings and video recordings
  • Continuously expand knowledge of resort systems, including DVSS, RTP|One and Ikon Resort Tools to train, support and develop team and improve guest experience
  • Manage, support, train and develop team of location Leads
  • Support and train co-Supervisors to foster growth, development, and a cohesive, consistent management team
  • Support and train Sales Processing team members
  • Ensure guest follow up, problem resolution and documentation of events in guest files
  • Liaise with other departments to create and maintain standard operating procedures, training, problem resolution, continuity and consistency across the resort
  • Prepare staff evaluations; monitor and document employee job performance
  • Visit sales locations to train and resolve issues, including providing additional support as Agent or Lead
  • Mentor and develop team to promote growth
  • Support team and locations through other duties, including but not limited to: shift schedules, accounting, location set-up/take-down, supply management, transaction processing fixes, and employee recognition and engagement, and performance management
  • Conduct back-office processing functions, including but not limited to, Acknowledgement of Risks Agreements, Activity Packets, duplicate guest files, late rental returns, guest inquiries and other reporting needs
  • Function as a leader in cooperation with the other members of the supervisory team
  • Perform other duties, as assigned or needed
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Sit and/or stand behind a computer or counter 6-9 hour a day, up to five days a week
  • Work weekends and holidays, ability to adapt schedule to meet business needs
  • Ability to work in all Deer Valley sales locations, as needed
  • Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 25 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Work in a busy, indoor environment, frequently conversing with guests, team members and other employees

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous sales and transaction processing experience necessary, preferably Lead or supervisory experience
  • Experience with resort systems, including proficiency with DVSS and RTP|One
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and high quality standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; builder of intrapersonal relationships
  • Ability to problem solve and think out-of-the box
  • Strong organizational and self-prioritization skills; ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, tremendous patience and understanding
  • Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team, including job sharing responsibilities

  • $24.00 per hour
