Seasonal Shop Associate / Ski Rental Technician (Full-Time and Part-Time needed) - Pioneer Sports

Job Overview:

As a Shop Associate/Ski Rental Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers have an excellent experience. Duties may include working at the register, assisting with ski and snowboard rentals, boot fitting, and handling returns. This listing is for the Frisco location, full time, throughout the 25/26 Winter season.

Key Responsibilities:

Register / Customer Service:

Operate the POS system, handle transactions, and maintain accurate drawer counts. You'll be evaluated on your efficiency and attention to detail. Additional duties may include housekeeping tasks and assisting with boot fitting or returns.

Rental Technician:

Set up ski and snowboard rentals, including adjusting DIN settings. Certification will be provided. You'll also help with boot fitting, returns, and general housekeeping as needed.

Boot Fitter / Returns Specialist:

Train to expertly fit ski and snowboard boots and assist with snowboard setups. You'll also manage the return station and contribute to general store upkeep and customer service tasks.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED. One to three months of related experience or training is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve problems with standard variables.

Language Skills:

Strong communication skills in English, including the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Able to write reports and interact effectively with customers and coworkers.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and work with equipment that has sharp metal edges. Must be able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment and move quickly around the shop.
