The Sonnenalp is looking for a Full-Time Seasonal Ski Concierge Supervisor

Wage:

$20.00/hour, plus tips

Primary Purpose Of Position

Manage the functions of the Ski Concierge program through training and leading ski concierge agents. Maintain the highest level of guest services and hospitality at all times as well as performing all ski concierge agent duties: greet and assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally both at the hotel and the ski concierge facility; handle, store, deliver, and assist with all guest ski equipment, and all ski concierge related functions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Lead and train Ski Concierge staff. Exhibit knowledge of all Ski Concierge procedures and operations. Obtain knowledge of and utilize HotSos system. Resolve guest complaints and problems to highest possible level. Adhere to the LHW guest standards at all times. Lead under pressure to ensure that guests are happy, satisfied, expectations met, etc. Ensure that ski equipment is ready before guest/group arrival. Organize, store, and transport ski equipment as needed at the hotel and ski concierge facility. Communicate with Front Office staff and other departments as necessary to ensure smooth and excellent guest service and to avoid delays, mistakes, etc. Lead the duties of Ski Concierge staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Provide guidelines and leadership to Ski Concierge staff. On a daily basis delegate duties to Ski Concierge staff; double check daily for accuracy and report errors to Front Office Manager. Uphold and enforce Uniform and Grooming Standards Conduct Employee Evaluations for staff on schedule. Provide the highest level of security of ski equipment Oversee and ensure the cleanliness, organization, etc. of the ski concierge spaces. Ensure a smooth working relationship and communication with the Bridge Street Ski Haus Operation. Maintain the F&B Station at the Ski Haus to Sonnenalp Standards. Any other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

High school graduate or equivalent Prior ski concierge/hospitality experience preferred Minimum one year supervisory experience required

Special Skills/Equipment

Excellent communication skills Basic computer skills required Able to perform well under pressure, use good judgment and meet deadlines Detail oriented Friendly, warm and enthusiastic personality

Essential Physical Requirements

Very physically demanding job, requiring an advanced fitness ability Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs Physically able to ride a bike while pulling equipment trailer Able to work outdoors in inclement and widely changing weather conditions Ability to stand and walk for full length of shift, up to 12 hours at one time Able to perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
