Quality Engineering Manager is responsible to oversee Quality Engineering functions for the Technical Center. This position is responsible to develop and implement systems and procedures to assure Quality Products are launched through the Development process to Production facilities.
Responsibilities & Activities
Management of Quality Program Engineers
Responsible to supervise and develop direct reports. Manages the objective setting process.
Promotes and exemplifies lnergy's Global Leadership Model to all associate in support of Inergy's Global Mission, Values and Objectives.
Establish and maintain an effective system of communication and information flow cross-functionally and throughout the company.
Actively support the program teams to assure consistent quality metrics are achieved.

Plan and carry out the process / product audits/layered process audit as the defined procedure.
Timely closure of observations & open issues in QRQC & Audits.
Documentation related to ISO/TS-16949.
Documentation related to ISO 14001 (EHS) & OHSAS-18001.
To act as document controller of the plant.
Organize/support customer ISO/TS and other external audits with timely closure of open points.
Manage Process Quality
Ensure equipment & human safety in the laboratory and test area
Follow up with maintenance department/Supplier for on time AMC to ensure preventive maintenance of laboratory and other testing equipment to avoid / minimize the break-down.
To ensure availability of consumables for lab inventory management (e.g. Ethylene Glycol, Microtome Blades, Resin for seal compression & thread profile checking) etc.
Timely sending of tanks for IVC Testing without time default
SMIR/4M reporting on MSIL's extranet before 6th of every month
Provide Training to New joiners & Certification of Maru- A operatorsI
Co-ordination with Production, Engineering & Supply Chain
Timely feedback to production in case if any product non-conformity observed during testing / measurement.
To prepare pareto for in-house rejection on monthly basis and share with team .
To participate in daily quality meeting and close the issue with cross functional team timely
To close the quality 8-D within defined target by corporate of locally
To carryout Layered Process Audit, Product Audit ,Process Audit , Unchangeable Audit and Transport Audit as per the defined frequency
Authorized for conformity to product requirements have the authority to stop shipments and stop production.

Personal Background
Bachelor's degree required (Engineering , Science , Technical or Business ) or equivalent in work experience
Five years SQA/Quality Engineering; Management and Technical Experience strongly preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Experience in Inergy Systems and Procedures, Quality Standards and practices
Strong problem Solving , decision making and prioritization skills required
Must be able to manage time and determine priorities
Fluent English written and oral
Analyzing skills and logic thinking
People management and strong leadership
